Just refused to interview using Talview AI
I don’t usually post “life events” live like this, but I’ve wanted to drop this on this sub specifically. Few weeks ago, a recruiter called me with a huge sense of urgency (first red flag) to talk about potential opportunity. We have jumped on a call in like 15 minutes, it sounded ok. As there was such urgency I was expecting something back in a week, tops. It’s been close to 3 weeks. Company calls me today, to check availability for today for the interview. Again sense of urgency, after not getting back to me in weeks. But ok. I confirm over the phone my availability. I get the invite, go to the interview confirmation link. And it’s Talview. I cancel the interview immediately (Talview sends in the smallprint in the e-mail footer link for cancelling) and I start getting calls in 10 minutes from the company and in half hour from the recruiter. I give them feedback – thank you for the opportunity, but I am not doing the one-way AI interviews. Whoever is not in absolutely dire situation to be homeless and hungry tomorrow should reject interviewing like this too. submitted by /u/casastorta [link] [comments]
